Self-sufficiency creates stability and builds dignity that promotes self-worth. Accessible transportation is a key to self-sufficiency. Car Care Clinic (CCC) is passionate about empowering others to achieve economic and personal independence that comes with mobility. In our sprawling community, automobile ownership is the most practical solution.
Our clients depend on their vehicles to meet basic needs: like finding and keeping a job, getting the kids or themselves to school, accessing quality healthcare, or getting to the grocery store and social activities like going to the movies or taking the kids to the park. Many of those we serve are one car breakdown from slipping into extreme poverty. For some, safe reliable transportation is the only thing standing between them and homelessness. Helping families break out of the generational cycle of poverty that surrounds them must include addressing their transportation needs.
